Project Objectives

The purpose of the project is to build a new four-lane motorway of 8.4 km between Bjørum and Skaret. This includes the construction of two highway intersections, two tunnels, five bridges, and large amounts of mass displacement. The aim is to improve road safety, reduce travel time and increase capacity on this important stretch of road.

Key Components

Cuplok Travel
Frico Group supplied Cuplok travel works for the project. This flexible and secure scaffolding system was used to support the construction in various phases of the work. The Cuplok travel plant is known for its durability and ability to adapt to complex construction requirements.

Mabey Universal Truss
Mabey Universal trusses were utilized to provide additional structural support. This system offers high strength and stability, which was essential to ensure the safe and efficient construction of the highway.

MAT Tower
The MAT towers used in the project contributed to height adjustment and stability during construction. These towers are designed to withstand high loads, making them ideal for large infrastructure projects like this.

Steel Beams
A considerable amount of steel girders were supplied to ensure the robustness and durability of the structure. The steel beams provide a sturdy frame that can withstand the heavy loads from traffic on the new highway.

Frico Group has also supplied stair towers and access solutions for the project. These structures ensure safe and easy access to different levels of the construction site, which is essential for efficient and secure workflow.
